"Feeding Britain's Future - How subjects relate to the world of work" On Wednesday, 31 Year 9s participated in the workshop presented by Future First, our alumni network, and IGD's Feeding Britain's Future programme. The focus of the workshop was on the transferable skills students can develop from both the compulsory subjects and their option choices. Four Business Leader volunteers in diverse roles - from scientists to sales people - explained how their own skills and experiences are connected to what they have done at school. They helped to inspire and educate our student, so they understand how to translate their education into skills for work and life while learning about the diverse range of careers within the food industry. Year 5 Taster Days are now available to book via our website. This event is for Year 5 girls from local primary schools and is a chance to experience the work and atmosphere in an all-girls' school.
