Forty-one Travel, Leisure and Tourism students from Years ten to thirteen visited Thorpe Park to collect research for their coursework. They thoroughly enjoyed the day and experiencing the rides. They also attended an educational talk on Guest Care at Thorpe Park. This was very useful as it will contribute to 60% of their overall grade next summer.
We were so proud of the way that all the students represented Hillview in such a positive light and were so proactive with their primary researching. Their behaviour was impeccable!
Courtney Upton said ‘it was a really good day and we didn’t even have to queue for very long! The talk had interesting facts that I can still remember now.’
Thanks go to Miss Reynolds for organising and Miss Birch for helping on the day.
