Extended Project
The Extended Project Qualification offers students an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge by producing an extended piece of work in an area in which they have particular interest. This may take the form of a written report of 5000 words or a creative project, performance or artefact with an accompanying piece of written work. It requires a high degree of planning, analysis and independent work, skills that students will need to succeed in employment or higher education. The Extended Project is equivalent to an AS and provides UCAS points.
