Geography
Through studying Geography, students have opportunities to take part in a number of visits, including a residential visit to a field studies centre in Suffolk or the Lake District. Students also have opportunities to visit international destinations: for example, China, Iceland and Malta.
By studying Geography, students develop their understanding of a number of contemporary environmental and social issues, from climate change to globalisation of industry. This develops students’ knowledge of their world and provides them with a wide range of transferable skills in preparation for employment or further education.
