Prizegiving Celebration 2026

This week, at our end-of-year Prizegiving event, we celebrated the dedication, ambition, positive attitudes, and outstanding community spirit demonstrated by our students throughout the year.


The values and expectations we promote in school closely reflect those sought by future employers. From punctuality, time management, and a strong work ethic to teamwork and the ability to build positive relationships, our students have been developing the skills and habits that will support their success long after they leave education.


Our Success Awards recognise those students who consistently demonstrate these positive qualities, showing commitment to their personal growth, learning, and development. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the example they set for others within our school community.


The majority of our students achieved an award, which is indicative of the positive learning community that we have at Hillview:

  • Platinum: Exceptional work-ethic, organisation and time management has been seen during the year, with no negative behaviour points being recorded. It is exceptionally hard to maintain this attitude to work and learning consistently day in day out throughout the year, recipients should be truly proud of this achievement.
  • Gold: Exceptional work-ethic, organisation and time management has been seen during the year, with only a minor number of occasions through the year where this has not been maintained. Recipients should be truly proud of this achievement.
  • Silver: A good work-ethnic has been seen throughout the year with a small number of occasions where this has not been maintained. They are showing the right skills and strong levels of potential and just need to maintain this consistently across the year and the full breadth of subjects. Recipients should be proud of their achievement.
  • Bronze: A positive work ethic and want to achieve. They show a desire to do well but may at times find this difficult and/or have been demonstrating a significant attempt to improve and engage positively with learning and school life. Recipients should be proud of the efforts they are making to learn and engage with wider school life.
