UN‑Style Climate Conference at Tonbridge School

On Tuesday, 3rd March, three of our Sixth Form students, Taryn, Isla and Grace, took part in an exciting United Nations– style Climate Conference hosted at Tonbridge School. Each student represented a different country and stepped into the role of national delegates, debating the key question: “Should countries be punished for failing to meet climate targets?”

Throughout the event, our students showcased impressive diplomacy, confidence and critical thinking as they presented their nations’ viewpoints and negotiated with other delegates. Their thoughtful contributions and professionalism were widely recognised, and the conference provided a valuable insight into the real-world complexities of global climate politics and international decision‑making.
