Hillview School Upcoming Events 

Open Evening - Thursday 16th October 2025 5:30- 8:30 pm

Please note that you will be offered a tour as part of this event, but you may also wish to book a headteacher talk. See below for more details. 

Regrettably, we suffer from traffic congestion in the area and have very limited space, so parking on site is not possible.  Please make arrangements to park away from the school and walk in.  Free shuttle buses will be provided by Hams Travel from Sainsbury's car park (Avenue du Puys) at half-hourly intervals from 5pm until 8.30pm.

SIXTH FORM: 

Open Evening - Thursday 20th November 2025 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm | NO PARKING AVAILABLE ON-SITE

Please note this is the only Open Evening for Sixth Form. You do not need to pre-book for this event; please turn up on the day from 5.30 pm onwards.

The Hillview Sixth Form entry criteria are 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and Maths. Please be aware that students require a GCSE average point score (APS) of 4.25 or above from their best 8 GCSE grades and a minimum of a grade 5 in GCSE English Language and Maths in order to access the full range of academic Sixth Form courses. Students who do not achieve this APS but meet our entry criteria will be offered an alternative programme of study from a tailored range of appropriate courses. All students enrolling at Hillview Sixth Form are required to take 3, Level 3 qualifications, plus an enrichment choice.
